ABOUT US
Keya Advertising is a full-service advertising and marketing company that targets Native Americans, a marginalized community.

Many organizations (federal, state, and nonprofit) know little about how to advertise or market their social programs to Indigenous communities. While many Native Americans would like to take advantage of these much-needed services, they rarely hear about them.

Over the past five years, we’ve successfully published NativeWellness.Life magazine, a national monthly printed health and wellness publication. During that time, we’ve learned there is no “easy button” when marketing to this group.

The barriers to marketing to Native Americans are many:
-
Little data exists about Native Americans
-
Stock photography/art online services (oftentimes racist in nature) provide few options for content creators.
-
Advertising/marketing agencies not owned by Indigenous people miss the Native American perspective needed to capture attention. It’s not so much about offering insight into Indigenous culture as it is about knowing how to use culture on TV, radio, billboards, print, social media, and the internet.
Keya Advertising knows the values that Native people hold so dear. Native American culture and heritage are built into everything we do. You don't have to spend days explaining these concepts to non-Native content creators and artists.
There are 574 federally recognized tribes, meaning 574 different cultures and histories. Every tribe is unique. That’s why we approach every campaign differently, without preconceived notions.

We include our clients in the entire campaign process, from cradle to grave. More importantly, our ad campaigns make sense and work.

CULTURE IS THE CURE

DREW CROSBY

I was born and raised in the great state of Montana. I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, and my passion for the art has only grown over time. Eleven years ago, I founded my media company, Thumbprint, with the goal of creating meaningful work that lasts. Through film, I aim to tell uplifting stories, celebrate those who strive to make a difference, and do my part to make the world a better place. I love what I do and am thankful for every project that comes my way.
I shot and put together the video on the home page.
